My daughter showed me this wonderful quilt store in Waunakee Wisconsin just down the road from her a short way. What a wonderful store and the building is so neat inside of it. I plan on going back to this shop whenever we go back to Wisconsin to visit.

I am hoping to arrange for this quilt to be raffled and the money to go towards the medical expenses of my great niece Toni who was in an accident earlier this month as I stated earlier in the blog. I need to talk to my sister about getting with the Boys and Girls Club of Bentonville Arkansas to see if they will work with me on this as they have been so helpful as Toni has been a member of the club for years and recently became an employee.

We have been vacationing this past week, first in Wisconsin near our daughters house and now in Minnesota in the southeast part of the state. Our daughter and two grandchildren are with us for these four days. We have gone through a cave on a tour, a historical village from 1899 and today a hike of almost 2 miles up hill a good part of the way and it was 90 degrees at least! Thank heavens most of the trail was in the shade. Tomorrow we will explore a part of the Mississippi River again — last week we were near the Mississippi River in Missouri. This time it will be bordering Wisconsin and Minnesota. Sunday we leave for the Madison area of WI again where we will spend two more days before starting the final part of our trip for home.

We started our trip with changes immediately; made a detour in plans and went to Springfield MO to be with my sister and my greatniece who was in a bad car accident a week ago today. Toni will never be able to walk again as the accident has paralized her from the waist down. She just turned 18 last month. We spent part of the week with them. Toni will be going to rehab soon to start to learn how to take care of herself. the Boys and Girls club that she is a member of in Bentonville and an employee is going to help change my sisters house over to being handicapped accessible and also is helping to pay medical bills.
