Hitting the Road again

in quilts

The urge to hit the road again has come and we will be heading out soon with the 5th wheel behind us.  Hopefully some of the hot weather will leave the areas northwest that we are heading for soon, at least the nights will be cooler than it is here.  I will bring Dear Jane along with us to work on and hopefully get some more of these triangles finished, I think I have 9 of them done now and I haven’t touched it in about a week as I have been busy finishing up some projects and have 2 more quilts almost ready to sell to the museum shop that I sell some of my work through.  Yesterday we drove into Little Rock and went a little further to Blossom Quiltworks in Sherwood http://www.blossomquiltworks.com/   where I am pleased to say I had $35.00 in gift certificates to use :)   When I got the final bill for my purchases it didn’t hurt so much!  I got some lovely batiks mostly in pastels and I plan on designing a baby or lap size quilt while we are on the road and get it pieced hopefully — we will be gone for about six weeks so hopefully I will find the time to work on it.   I haven’t brought my sewing machine along but I am planning on doing that this time and see what kind of room I have for using it in the camper.  I will try to post more from the road this time and put some pictures of where we are also.
