When we were traveling one of the things I missed the most those 7 weeks was my quilting group. There is something about sitting down with your quilting and a group of women sharing that same interest that can make you day. Everyone is talking at once, there are probably 10 conversations going on, everyone showing what they are working on, people helping each other with quilting/designing problems, offering advice and listening to your personal problems & laughter. Getting back into my routine is great.
I have gotten back to the Dear Jane Quilt and started putting together some of the border this week. I have also gotten my new quilt top that I started while traveling almost finished. Of course I have done very little on the quilt that is in the big frame but hopefully will get back to that one this winter.
Yard work awaits and I really need to get to that this fall, the yard is a mess after being neglected for almost 2 months and work on the work shop awaits as well on the house — we will be busy all fall and winter!
