Kathie I hand quilt all my large quilts on this frame. I bought it about 1995 or 1996 – my husband and I had taken a day trip up to Branson Missouri and saw a shop along the way right before we crossed into Missouri — it was called Turney’s Wood Shop and it advertised that they made quilting frames. We stopped to look and I loved this frame. There is no brand, it was handcrafted from oak and designed by the 2 old gentleman that ran the shop. I have no idea if they are still in business. If you are interested I have an address and phone number on a card that was tucked away among my quilting things.
I have been very happy with the frame and I like the 3 rollers making it so you don’t have to baste quilts. I do use a small round 14″ hoop and a square 24″ inch for smaller quilts so I can be working on two quilts at a time if I want to.
