What’s Black and White and Red all over? – Utah’s quilt

This one is for my grandson Utah it is made from the leftovers of the Mariner’s Compass.  It still needs to be quilted of course and I will get to that part soon.  I am making quilts for both of the grandchildren for Xmas 2008, I just got started on Ciera’s top tonight — it also will be a drunkards path pattern but with lots of pinks scattered throughout and mixed with all sorts of scraps.

Oh this is fantastic! It’s so graphic, so simple, yet SO charming! Can’t wait to see it quilted. Are you going to machine or hand quilt this beauty?

Hi Karen… Love the quilt top… Now I know what the rest of the quilt looks like! I love your sewing room too, you have a major quilting frame… My Mom would love it!
