Wow. I'm so glad you got to see her true colors before giving your money away. This season does tend to bring out the worst in humanity. I'm hoping this recession will actually end up being a good thing, forcing people to focus on the more important things in life.

Gloria I do not understand nor read Spanish although I do recognize some words here and there. When I look at your page and others inSpanish I use the Google Translator. I thought your quilting booths on your page with the pictures you showed were so nice. I will continue to check out your blog and add it to my blog roll.

I have read so many stories over the years of bomb threats all over the world. I live in the countryside outside of small town america and bomb threats are not something that you hear a lot of around here, normally it is at a high school and you know it is a teenager pulling a prank. You have to take it seriously but yet at the back of your mind you always assume it is a prank.

Good Morning Karen

I have just switched on my pc and reading your descriptions of a ‘busy day’ brought back far too many memories. I used to live in London and not a single day in a calendar month would pass without the incidents that you just mentioned happening at Wal Mart. Adding chaos to any situation the fact that some selfish, irresponsible and un-cooperative people regarding the rules and preservation of other lives demand to be checked out since they are done with their purchases. Are they done with their own life? One can not begin to describe the heartache that a ‘bomb scare’ situation is as we all around the world have suffered too many loss of lives and yet evil people will try again.
As for a foul mouthed old lady, do we not live and learn every day?
I can sense God’s standing by and making notes of it all…
Whatever happened to peace and harmony?

But….I looked again at your front door decorations and that brought a smile to my face. That’s the Christmas spirit! The celebration of life!
