3339299167_638f862080Between yesterday and today even though it has been very nice outside I got 3340126714_a53ceb2f82more quilting done on my Dear Jane “Insanity” quilt.  I didn’t really think I would be able to quilt it as fast as I am doing.  Which really isn’t really fast – I have just been sticking with it and trying to quilt most every day.   I am just about done with Row A and I will finish up block A1 after I get done with this blog post and then I just have the two triangles 3340128914_85efb4695enext to that one, one pieced and one plain.  I’m glad I did the geometric type design on the plain triangles, it is a simple design and goes with the shape of the triangle.  In a way it is amazing how much you can accomplish if you just try to sit down for 30 minutes at a time several times a day.

I have been getting a little work done on my Christmas Baltimore Album in that I got more pieces cut out but have not prepped the pieces and tacked them to the background.  I might work on that tomorrow.

I wonder if any of you quilting blogger’s out there have gotten comments kind of like what I received the other day.  I deleted it from my comment section as I did not like it!!     :(    It was a nasty type of comment in that the person thought I was bragging too much in posting photo’s of my quilting of this quilt in particular.  I really wondered why this person made the comment because if you are interested in quilting you like to look at other peoples quilts to get ideas for your own and also because you just plain like to look at them and you like to read their blogs — right?  I am posting more photo’s then I normally would of this quilt because I am proud of my accomplishment as this quilt is a difficult quilt to do &  it has taken so long to make it.  I know my daughter wants to keep track of progress on the quilt because she loves it and wants it so badly   :)    and enjoys looking at the quilting.  My aunt in Green Bay Wisconsin  also checks in from time to time and likes to look at the quilts  because she is a quilter herself and enjoys seeing the photo’s of my Dear Jane and other work.

So if anyone of you do not like to look at my quilting photo’s feel free not to look at the blog   :)    and for the rest of you I appreciate y’all stopping by and leaving your friendly comments and I go look at your blogs and love looking at all the photo’s and wish I could make all the quilts you are all working on as well.  I have a lot of you on my google reader so I know when you post something new and read your blogs with interest.
