Yesterday we had a high of 72 – this morning when we woke up we had sleet and 35 degrees — only in Arkansas. High out here today was 44 and tonight we are in a winter weather watch and might have 1 to 2 inches of snow tonight – spring — maybe next week when it will be back in the 60′s the weatherman says 
Finally today after a week or more of working on my second Baltimore Album 
Christmas block the Christmas Cactus Wreath I have the prep work done — now for the stitching! I do not think I will use this method again for a block that has this many pieces in it — 121 pieces that is. Takes way too much time. It would have gone much faster just to pin or glue baste in place and needle turn as always. The picture on the right bottom is of the block I have finished – and the one on top with all the pins is obviously the one that needs some work. Haven’t a clue how often in the upcoming week or two that I will work on it, but once I get started it won’t take super long to do the stitching if I stick with it good. I used up every single 1/2 inch (or was it 3/4 inch) applique pin I had and had to use about 5 of the shortest other pins I had hanging around the sewing room. I think next time I order something I will order another package of them – tiny little things.
Progress has been made on the wall hanging for the guild challenge. I will be glad to get done with that project and get it finished and put aside so I can devote more time on some of these other projects.
I did get row A on Insanity finished last night. That is block A1 in green and white. I think the border triangle next to it the one in white and brown looks like a rocket doesn’t it? Or is it just me, the triangles do not have names but I would call it the Rocket. I am working on the green/white triangle right now and the plain one next to it, then on the B1 the blue cloudy sky fabric with the white circles in it.
Tonight is a tv night for me, I love watching “Criminal Minds” and sometimes watch “Law & Order” which I plan on tonight seeing as it is a new show. I do not watch a ton of tv as I do not like most tv shows that are on in the evening anymore. I do like “Medium”, “ER” (although mainly with the old cast from years ago), & “CSI” (Las Vegas – not Miami can’t stand the red haired dude!). I use to like comedy shows but very few attract me anymore and I can’t stand reality tv shows. My long time favorite show though is a soap I have been watching The Young and the Restless since the very beginning. Although not every single show every single year, I have taken time off from it but always go back. The best thing about it now though is the DVR -can speed right through those advertisements or parts you are not interested in and finish an hour soap in about 40 minutes or less. Other than that I do not watch tv during the day, there are no daytime shows that interest me. How about all of you – do you like tv? what do you watch?
(Edited: I just remembered there are two comedy’s that I watch on Comedy Central – “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report”. I love how irreverent they are to politics – I love sarcastic humor.) I don’t stay up late so I watch them at 7 & 7:30 in the evening on the comedy channel, they are the previous nights shows.
