We missed the snow fall that part of our state got yesterday – we did get snow flurries but nothing more than that. On the eastern part of the state some places got 12 inches! Instead of temperatures upcoming on Tuesday and Wednesday in the 60’s they are now saying close to 80! I can handle that.
I am starting to get the prep work done for another of the Baltimore Album Christmas blocks. This block will have a circle of Christmas Cactus with misletoe in the corners, a little embroidery will be added by the flowers of the cactus. I don’t have enough to get a picture of yet as I am first tracing the pattern pieces onto freezer paper so I can iron it down to the fabric. Maybe I will be further along on it tomorrow.
I have been reading a lot lately – I go through spells of reading and when I get into reading mode I do not do a lot of quilting it seems. Right now I am going through my John Grisham books that I have mentioned this past week. I am reading his very first novel this time. I am sure I will get some more quilting done though on Dear Jane – “Insanity” tonight as well though as I quilt while I watch tv. There is a tv movie on tonight that I wanted to watch with Tom Selleck, the Jesse Stone movie they have been advertising. I think he does one a year lately – this is about the 5th one I think.
Oh well, time to get to work on tracing the B. A. Christmas block to the freezer paper –

Hi Karen, in the middle of repairing the old quilt, I cut out a prairie queen quilt pattern and actually had enough to make a good size quilt out of the scraps that I am using.
I can’t even begin to think that far ahead. Oh, yeah, I have that red and white top that I may get to. That’s Christmassy.

I didn’t know the new Jesse Stone movie was out. Ric and I watched them all on DVD last year. I will have to watch out for this one on DVD.

yes Mel the new movie was out on Sunday. It was ok, about the norm for a tv movie
I did notice that Robert Parker has a new Jesse Stone book out on the shelves at the book store.
