If you follow this link you will find Ranette is having a give away of a set of Moda Bake Shop Honey Buns. Run on over and look at her blog and get in on the drawing!
I didn’t have anything to post yesterday. I have been busy tracing out the pattern pieces and beginning to cut them out for the last block for the Christmas Baltimore Album. When I have everything glue basted in place I will post a photo of the block – hopefully later this weekend.
I have been extremely lazy with my quilting and sewing and have not accomplished much on my Dear Jane quilts recently. I will try to take another photo of what I have done soon and get an update posted. Mainly my husband and I have been working outside on the front area that we decided needed an update. The flower bed was dismantled, and a new deck is taking shape. We do the work ourselves. I have just finished putting some rock back in place that had to be moved while we were working. More to do but maybe we will be done with it by the end of next week if the weather cooperates. After the new part is added on then the old porch needs to be cleaned up – getting very green in places from wet weather over the years.
Finally I am getting some little green tomatoes growing. I had about given up. We had so much rain the beginning of May that I thought it had ruined them. Thankfully we haven’t had near as much since then and more sun – that is helping a lot.

How wonderful that you are getting home improvement projects done. We always do the work ourselves too but things are on hold until we both retire so we can have some days off together.

It always seems to be that way this time of year. I spend more time outside than inside quilting. I love warm weather so for me I can’t get enough of it! Glad your garden is starting to come in! All mine has to be replanted!
