Progress has been made and the ceiling repair is close to finished. The filler compound, paste whatever you call it is drying and will be sanded tomorrow morning. When that is done I can start more painting on that side of the room. I have the dining area finished. When the paint has time to really get dried in another day or two I will get things back on the wall – actually Mike will help with that too 
I have a hard time getting screws into the walls.
After I had one coat of paint on the dining area walls I got cleaned up and took a break and went to Hobby Lobby. I found metal decorative shelf to put on one wall. I didn’t realize it at the time how good the sale was – I will go back tomorrow and get another one – one I was looking at and I didn’t have the measurement with me was an idea for hanging a wall hanging on one wall. I have one that I had hanging and I want to put it back up but I wanted a different method to hang it. The one I am looking at is a metal decorative piece that matches the same design as the two tiered shelf that I bought. 50% off – too good of a deal to pass up, the two pieces combined will look really nice I think. When I got back home I got the second coat of paint on the dining walls. Then I got the coat of primer up on the kitchen walls.
I am so aching tonight though! The fibromyalgia pain is kicking in. It doesn’t bother me a lot normally but all this twisting and turning, reaching ect. with the painting is getting me. I might need to take tomorrow off and wait another day – I hate to delay but I will see how I feel in the morning. That is why some projects take me longer than what it seems like it should – I have to deal with the medical problems – I always get done though! it just takes a couple extra days at times.
I got a little of the applique work done today on the Baltimore Bliss block while I was watching the evening news. It is progressing nicely. If I take tomorrow off from painting I will get some more finished on “Insanity” I have not touched it for a couple days.
No photo’s today. I will post some of my dining area and kitchen soon. I hope to find a new tall table and stools for the dining area which is really more the size of a breakfast nook. I don’t want a large table, I just don’t have room for anything big. I like the newer tall styles of tables with the tall stool/chairs to go with them.
