Back to “Insanity” (Dear Jane) (Give Away continues)

by Karen on October 1, 2009

in Christmas Baltimore Album, Dear Jane -- or Insanity as I call, Give Aways

First I want to thank all of you that have stopped by to enter into the give away – and thank you to all that have blogged on your blog about it.  I have had several ask if “foreigners” are allowed — yes you all are welcome.  Good luck to all of you.  Remember if you still want to enter–the drawing will be held on October 7th.  Please enter on the blog post that I started for it yesterday.

Finally I have been making some progress on my first Dear Jane quilt “Insanity”.  I have been busy quilting the last two days and have six more blocks completed.  I’m not sure if I started photo’s at the correct spot but I believe I have picked up from where I left off before traveling to Colorado and Wisconsin the month of September.  I’m getting excited the end is drawing near!!  only 2 rows and one border row left plus a little on this row #K.  I hope to be done quilting within a couple weeks so that I can get my Christmas Baltimore Album quilt on the frame.  If I mainly only work on that in the upcoming months I just might be able to have it for part of or all of the Christmas season — if not it will be added the Christmas spirit to my quilting room :)

I would say that Mel is going to have to wait a long time for this baby.

thanks – I never got back to work on it last night but will again today I think.
Mel won’t have to wait real long to receive the quilt – but I did tell her I need to enjoy it for awhile first!

Oh Karen, everything looks so perfect! I can’t believe how much you’ve got done!
I know someone who has taken years to just do one quilt. It’s a committment for sure!
Yeah, a giveaway…sounds perfect.
