I think I will get my Moda Box of Sampler squares tomorrow or the next.  I’m looking forward to seeing them!  And then of course I will need to figure out how to use them – what design ect.  I love charm quilts and this will make one perfectly.  I will post a photo when they arrive so you can all see what they look like!  (Have you all noticed the price of fabric going up over the last two years!  I know it is still more inexpensive here in the states then over seas.  I wouldn’t even want to think of paying what you all pay in other countries)

I have gotten 2 sides of the scallops on “Insanity” finished – give me about 2 or 3 more days and I just might be finished with it.  I have barely touched any other project other than the Christmas quilt which I have worked on quilting a little.  Even though it will be sad in a way to have finished this quilt it will be a relief also!!

It continues to be so nice outside – a little cooler today but still very nice.  I sat outside for awhile this morning watching Mike work a little outside before he left for work.  I skipped working on the flowers this morning but I was clearing up some of the building supplies.  Tomorrow maybe back to a little work on the flower beds or the fall clutter of leaves on the ground!  So many leaves.  I should take the camera with me tomorrow when I run into town to get my hair cut.  I should go take some photos of what is left of the fall color.  We do still have some trees with color.   We do not have a lot of them left in our yard though.

Looking forward to seeing what you will do with your little sampler box. I am glad to hear that you took it on the easy side. I can’t wait to see your photos of the trees. We haven’t had leaves for a a few weeks now.

I know what you mean about being a little sad that your quilt will be finished (and maybe leave you). I always feel that way about a big project that means a lot to me. I feel lost for a day or 2 and then I get going again on something else.

There are still a few varieties of trees here in town that have their pretty leaves but most have fallen.

Karen, Good to hear that you are taking care of yourself. If I sat outside today I would probably drown!!! We are having flooding all over the place. We’ve been going through this for a couple of days now and I am tired of the color gray!!!! And …. I have a funeral to go to today. Guess I shouldn’t complain because at least it isn’t mine or anyone in my family but the gentleman is a veteran so we have lost another of the good guys.
