And as if I don't have enough projects in the works - this is a new knitting project. Now that I have the knit stitch down pat I am working on learning how to purl so one side is knit, one side purl. This will be a shawl like thing (I say thing because I wonder if it will be more afhgan size when I am done?)

I am not following a pattern but just put 100 stitches on the big needles and going from there!

Great family pictures! Love that the kids just couldn’t leave the dog at home alone on Thanksgiving!

I once tried to knit-my Mom was a knitter-but it just wasn’t for me.

Your quilts are just beautiful, Karen! So is your family!
Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!
Good luck on the knitting! I’m working on a couple of vests for the grandsons for Christmas just now.
All the best!

It’s nice to meet the family. Yes, 100 stitches is a lot, it should be lovely. Great choice of yarn.

Oh Karen, THE QUILT and the second version are both absolutely stunning. I had never seen the whole product yet, only the little excerpts you’ve been feeding us. I’m (almost) speechless! Great job!

Cheers,
Christine

Wow what a difference in 2 quilts of the same pattern. It is good to see it held up too to really put a scale on how small the blocks are.
