Oh Karen it must be the season, as I too have started knitting after a few years of hiatus!
Ah to live in an area where the winters are mild. For that matter to live in an area where the summers are mild!
Yes, crazy weather these days as we are almost in the 60s here. I am wearing sandals again!

Karen, your Christmas quilt is looking gorgeous, I have loads of patience when it comes to sitting and stitching but I would find it a big effort to mark in all those lines for the quilting. I did do it once on a small four block applique sampler, but I think even then I think I just did a bit of the marking at a time.
Your dining area looks great and I really like the idea of that storage area underneath the table.
I haven't done any knitting for ages and ages, but one of the ladies in my sewing group frequently brings along her knitting and seeing the lovely wool she uses makes me feel like I'd like to do it again. Your scarf looks good so I hope you get the chance to wear it this winter.

Your table & chairs are lovely! I don't believe I have seen any with storage such as this one has.
The Christmas Quilt will also be lovely. Your work is such an inspiration.

Karen, I was looking at the first photo you took of you new table and chairs and thought that it looked great in your "remodeled" kitchen. I really like the pottery (pitcher, I think) in the middle of the table and the runner it is sitting on. As I looked at the photo, I was thinking that the runner might look better going the other way on the table. Guess you looked at that photo also and thought the same thing because I see in this photo that you have changed it around. Photos sure help us see things better/differently, don't you think? I know it helps me sometimes when arranging blocks to take a photo and study it for placement problems. Well, on to other projects now that the scarf and kitchen is finished ..... not that you don't have more projects in the works!!!!!
