410769638_Eo7Qa-ThIt is my mother’s 85th birthday on the 16th – today we had a surprise birthday party for her so we were away from home all day as it is a little more than 2 hours one way.  We had a spectacular sunset on the way home.  Here are a few photos of our day.  We had a lot of the family able to make it to the party.  Mom was surprised although my 7 year old niece tried her best to give the secret away the other day from what I heard!  Good thing mom thought she was talking of her last birthday party given several years ago.  We have many in the family and it was not possible for everyone to be there.

Hi Karen,
A very happy birthday to your mother. Her birthday is the same day as my son who will be 22 on Wednesday. It feels weird to think of him turning 22 already- the time has passed by so quickly..
It looks like she had a very nice day- surrounded by so many loved ones.
Wishing you all the best of the season.
Warmest regards,
Anna

Happy Birthday to your mom! What a beautiful sunset! We moved to Florida a year ago and I can honestly say I had never seen such beautiful sunsets before moving here.

It looks like your mom had a great time. Wow, 12 kids. that really spreads out the ages of the grandchildren then too.

Beautiful sunset, nice deep tones.

Wishing your Mom a Happy Birthday! It looks like she had a good one with family around her. What a beautiful sunset! I missed it today! I had been to the LQS this afternoon and it was cloudy and gray. So, thanks for the beautiful pictures.
