Karen, those a GORGEOUS borders. I just love how they turned out! Your circles look perfectly circular and the 9-patches in the corners are a nice touch.

That's going to be an absolute spring beauty - though haveing flowers starting to bud is pretty impressive, too :)

Cheers,
Christine

I think this is one of the prettiest quilts I've seen in a very long time. I love the seeming simplicity of it...it's bright and cheerful and yet has an old-time look to it. How big is it? And I'm jealous of your thread and the holder. I have lots of machine embroidery thread but have it in drawers by colors. While that's good to keep the dust off I can't see it at a glance and wish I could. blessings, marlene

I commented before about how I loved that border. For some reason, I saw appliqueing the vine on but I didn't think about all of the circles. Wow! I'm really impressed with your work.

Love watching your progress on this quilt. And it's inspiring me to maybe use circles to solve a problem. We'll see.

Karen, Thanks to you again for showing in words and photos the process you go through to do a technique. That border is wonderful and fits the quilt nicely. You have certainly given me ideas for borders that I might not have thought of without your tutorial. And I have some of that glue for basting so no need to go buy anything! Hope you are staying warm. Last week the school kids here in NC had only one day of class. Fun for them but they will not like it when it comes to "make up time".
