Well here I am at mom’s where there is no wi-fi in her apartment building and I have wi-fi! It worked. I think the Palm Pre Plus cell phone is going to work for us when we travel — as long as we have a cell phone connection that is 
I have my phone plugged in across the room (you need to charge it while using it if possible as the battery runs down more when you are using it for wi-fi or aps.) and the connection is flowing smoothly – I have not gotten kicked off once.
We have been very busy since I picked my sister up at the airport yesterday around noon. Today we have been out shopping and lunch. One of our many nieces got home from college last night and was at loose ends and met us for lunch and wandering through the shops.
Tonight a lot of the family are meeting at a buffet steak house which should be fun. No photos today, weekend will be family gatherings. I haven’t touched any quilting – in fact didn’t even bring anything with me as I knew I would not get to it!
