I was so busy this weekend that I didn't get my peonies cut before the storms so they are now laying on the ground. This was the best year they've had in a while, too. Glad to hear you and your daughter are ok though. blessings, marlene

We have been colder than normal around here and nothing is blooming yet though the trees are finally getting leaves. I long for the lazy days of summer LOL.

I want some peonies - I almost purchased some yesterday at a quick run to a wonderful nursery about 40 minutes away from us - but I have to decide first where to plant them and learn more about how to care for them! But yours are beautiful! I did buy two clematis plants! Can't wait to see your quilt(s) completed - both the baby quilt and the insanity re-visited! Looking good! Hope your cold gets better!!

We had peonies at the farm where I grew up, they were dark red and HUGE. I can't remember I've seen pink peonies - they are very beautiful! What a cute little bunny, poor little thing. I agree, too pretty for being a wild one. Paper piecing creates a mess, but it's wonderful to get rid of some scraps! :)

I love peonies and have 3 bushes. One white, one pink and one that is a ruffled edge pink. Some years I get a lot of blooms and other years barely a couple. This year they are doing great.

Unbelievable that your peonies are blooming! Mine are just coming out of the ground. But I just can't wait for when they bloom they are gorgeous. I have to agree with Wanda, that bunny is way too pretty to be a wild one. It is so cute. I hope that you are feeling better soon!

I can't believe how beautiful your flowers are!

I think tornadoes are the scariest weather of all.

Your Jane block is just gorgeous! and I love the little pineapple blocks! Paper piecing has to be the messiest things in the quilting world but it is great for tiny scraps.

I can't believe you have peonies blooming already. I have buds on mine and they typically bloom near Memorial Day.

I wondered if you were any where near the storm area. It sounded like it was pretty rough in your state.

That has to be a pet bunny, way to pretty for a wild one.

Beatifull flowers on a wunderfull quilt. When I have rain or storm I just say thank you for being a quilter - always nice to have something important to inside :O)
Well, spring now, and soon it will be sunny and summer.
