“Insanity Revisited” for the main part of the quilt all of those little blocks is coming to an end – only 10 more blocks to make I believe.  I finished one more this morning and have one more prepped and ready to go.  I had no errands to run this morning so I gathered up all I needed to make Block #3 on Row 13 and headed outside while the air was still – no breeze and it was already near 80 at 9 this morning.

my morning workspace - shady at 9AM

a book to read if I get bored with the sewing - I didn't but started to read it this afternoon. I thought it was a new book but turned out to be a reprint.

getting started on this block

several trips in to the house to press these little - many seams so the work will lay flat

an hour or so another block finished! lots of seams in this little block

I have my patterns for the Star Crazy BOM June assignment  printed out and cut all the needed fabric this evening. Tomorrow I will start to sew at the machine as it is another hot one coming tomorrow – in the 90′s all week.  I think I might bring the Dear Jane block that I have prepped to the sewing group tomorrow night to work on. Unless I make it during the daytime, if I have time I will prep another block in case.   I do not like to drag a sewing machine and all that is needed out for a couple hours – too much of a bother it seems when I spend most of the time talking and not working.  Hand work will be better.
