Just today catching up on your posts this week. I usally have a bit of evening primrose in one spot of our yard but haven’t noticed it this year so it must have died off. Love the travelogue you are providing us. Continue to travel safely.

Karen, I’m always amazed at how nice many of the rest stops in the USA are. I hope they continue to stay nice and aren’t lost due to budget cuts, Jim and I tend to visit them more often than campgrounds when traveling!

your flower makes me think of a Wild Rose with out more of a leaf it is hard to tell. The rest stop looks like a nice one. Oops off to work I go.

I was wondering if the flowers were primroses too! Love the adventure as always. We don’t have many rest stops such as this in Ontario, but Quebec has fabulous ones. Right in the middle of nowhere, overlooking the sea or St. Lawrence River. Breathtaking views and no charge.

What a lovely place to stop. It’s wonderful that rest stops are so much more appealing now. Goodness, Kansas is FLAT LOL.
