Artist Point – Day 4 Part 2

The waterfall is Lower Falls of the Yellowstone:

The falls and the canyon combined make for a beautiful place.  The lighting today was a combination of very cloudy skies/sometimes rain and clear blue sky in places.  I told Mike that this photo turned out looking like a painting -

I was surprised to see this tree still growing as straight as it is – Look at those roots!

A close up of the roots from the tree, it is not holding on by much:

From the distance we were at we could see the spray coming off of the falls.

I heard a child refer to this bench as “an unnatural bench” it did make a nice resting spot for a lot of people I noticed though during the time we spent there.

One of the massive beast called “buffalo” that we saw today – one of many!

Next is the last trail of the day – Red Rock Point – more views of the waterfall – and a really steep trail!

I thot that first photo WAS a painting that you had seen in a shope and was showing us.

Good luck on your “really steep trail.”
