The waterfall is Lower Falls of the Yellowstone:
The falls and the canyon combined make for a beautiful place. The lighting today was a combination of very cloudy skies/sometimes rain and clear blue sky in places. I told Mike that this photo turned out looking like a painting -
I was surprised to see this tree still growing as straight as it is – Look at those roots!
A close up of the roots from the tree, it is not holding on by much:
From the distance we were at we could see the spray coming off of the falls.
I heard a child refer to this bench as “an unnatural bench” it did make a nice resting spot for a lot of people I noticed though during the time we spent there.
One of the massive beast called “buffalo” that we saw today – one of many!
Next is the last trail of the day – Red Rock Point – more views of the waterfall – and a really steep trail!
