we arrived home about 4 PM after another windy day on the road. Thank you everyone who followed along the trip with us. You all put up with a “travel blog” instead of a “quilting blog” and I appreciate all your lovely comments along the way.
I believe we covered about 3,000 miles in the motorhome. Mike is going to do up a map at a later date and if I remember I will post a map of our route just for those who happen to be interested. We started in Arkansas, drove through Oklahoma to Colorado, then on to Utah and Arizona, last was New Mexico and a portion of Texas and Oklahoma once again on the drive home.
We were traveling for 6 weeks and 2 days!! All in a 25 foot motorhome and we survived (been married for 39 years and still counting).
I will get back to being about quilting soon – in fact I think I have unpacked as much as I am going to of the motorhome this evening and will continue on that tomorrow – and grocery shopping, dusting the house – yuck all that dust! oh and lets not forget the laundry.
No Place Like Home
I’m glad to see my big tree has not turned colors yet – I didn’t think it would – normally doesn’t until mid to late November – I love looking at it turn yellow! I didn’t take this until 5:30 or so – the lighting wasn’t great. You can see I have a lot of leaves to sweep off the porch – was very windy here also!
