Getting Busy

I am so slow getting started at times!  I keep looking out the window at the snow Smile

One wouldn’t think someone who grew up with snow and lived in northern states for the first 27 years of their life would care if it snowed – but I get like a kid and I’m constantly looking out the window to watch it.  I have already pulled on the new boots that I bought before we went to Wisconsin in November (in hopes I would use them there and didn’t) to fill up the bird feeder and throw more on the ground for the little birds.   This was of course mainly so I could go out in the snow Smile the feeder still had some seed in it.

What have I gotten done – well I do have the triangles cut and I got started chain piecing a short time ago only to stop and go fill the feeder – now I guess I better get back to the machine – which is set up in front of the window so I can watch it snow!

I also love snow but it’s not as common over here, especially on the coast, so when it does snow I tend to rush out for a walk as Archie loves it!

Im no fan of the snow…but it is very pretty to look at
If the snow would not fall on the roads I would like it!
And I must admit the snow is good for the garden!! a good blanket of snow keeps the bulbs from growing too early and gives a good wet start to the garden when it melts….hmmmm i guess i do like snow

I feel the same way about snow. But I don’t remember it snowing very often as I was growing up. My only problem with a snow day is that I don’t want to go back the next day either. lol

Augh. I’m pretty over the snow. But, since I live in SW Ontario, I’m used to it. And i lived away from it for a few years, so (don’t tell anyone) I’m kinda liking it. Ahem. But you enjoy it!

Very pretty snow photos!

I have never lived anywhere where it has snowed, so I would be at the window watching the snow too……or, more probably, outside in it! :)

BRRRRR! It looks so nice, but so cold too! Isn’t it nice staying inside in such weather and know that you don’t really have to get out…
