I finally managed to get Star Crazy half way finished yesterday. I gave the rollers a couple turns and I can now see that the next time I crank it down I will see the final borders. It will take time of course but the end will be in sight soon.

I will start quilting on this side and start working my way over to the right side.

The right side

I will be glad to get this quilt done and move on to the next one! 66 hours of quilting is in on this one so far and 2 1/2 months of quilting – even though at times it feels like it is taking too much time – it isn’t I normally have a quilt sitting on this frame for close to a year before I finish. The reason is I start so many new projects it takes forever to finish the one on the frame. I am trying to change that this year because I have so many tops waiting to be quilted – I still keep making new ones anyhow but at least I am trying harder to keep quilting.

Congratulations, Karen! That’s a big accomplishment and cause for real celebration. Pour yourself a special drink and make a toast! It’s looking really good… before long, it will be done.

Goodness at this rate you’ll be finished in no time. The problem is starting new projects is so much fun. lol
