I was looking for a page protector to put the copy I made of Pattern#2 from my giveaway – (leave comment for give away on that blog post) “Location, Location, Location” as it has a lot of flower patterns in it that I want to keep – that was why I bought that pattern to begin with – for the flowers - and I couldn’t find my page protectors. I finally found the extra protectors that I had and I realized that I really I’m envious of Teresa’s – Fabric Therapy – organizational skills. I am fairly organized but not like she is. She would have known exactly where her page protectors were!!
I have my patterns here and there and every where. Some are stuffed in this overflowing box – yes I did make a copy of that pattern #2 before it finds a new home on Friday – and it is stuffed in the box! It is on the top shelf though and out of the way, but I tend to forget to look in it.
More patterns are in this ring binder – these are cut out from magazines – I rarely buy quilting magazines anymore as I find so many patterns on line now. But there are quilts in this binder that I want to make some day. The only problem is I forget about it-it is on the book shelf and I tend to forget what is on that shelf unless I am looking for something.
I found my extra page protectors at the end of this book!! and what happened was I got started looking through the book and found all kinds of patterns that I had forgotten about – what lovely patterns – full of ideas – like this:

and this – oh wow what a challenge I thought when I saw this one – how many years ago?
and what about this one – a lot of the squares I am cutting out could go in this one!!
and look at this one – long and skinny – it could hang on a door is what I thought – how many years ago when I saw it.
The list of ideas in this ring binder could go on and on – are you like that too – find all the ideas, cut them out of the magazines and save them – and then forget you have them!!
I really need to keep this ring binder handy and start looking through it some.
