Moving Right Along

Inklingo, quilts

I don’t know when – but sometime today over at Amy’s Creative Side she will be posting a new post with all the quilts that were nominated – they will be in categories and you get to vote again on your favorites – they will be divided up into categories like hand quilted (mine!), machine quilting, applique, baby etc. etc. my quilt is #531 and thank you to everyone who has already gone and voted, now I ask you to go back to Amy’s page one more time and vote when she has her new list out.  You might have to go to her top header and refresh or search around a little bit to find the new list to vote on.  I have found her site to be a little confusing at times, hopefully she will change things around when the next festival comes around.

I do believe Joseph’s Coat will be moving along fairly quickly now.  I got all the pieces cut out yesterday that I need to finish it. Everything was put down on the floor and pinned together and I got busy sewing.

But I’m not going to show you the finished work now until it is done – anticipation!  I will show bits and pieces though.  These are the colors I am working on right now.

I am also working on Pineapple Square to give me some variety. I am working on the second block from the left right now – basically the same photos I have been showing you – it is always hard to get it from a new view when the view is basically the same!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! It is hot, hot, hot here and dry – we had such a nice breeze though that I was outside on the porch reading for awhile yesterday before it got to hot and I came back inside.  I wonder what today will be like, it doesn’t look breezy so far and now I think we will miss it.

I’m such a wimp about the heat, but hot, hot, hot is an understatement!!! There is a good breeze here, but it’s hot, too. I tried to sit in the swing and visit with my daughter on the phone, but retired to the comfort of a/c.

You are such a TEASE. Love the Joseph’s Coat colors you are showing today.

Hope this is a good relaxing weekend for you!!

I can see the rows getting shorter on Joseph’s Coat, it won’t be long now 🙂
I don’t like the really hot days, it makes it hard to get motivated to do anything, although it is Winter here now so I have only memories of the long hot days.
