Talk about wanting to start a new project! Mail came and with it the package I ordered the other day from Wondrous Woven Fabrics – going out of business sale -I was sent a good customer code for a 30% off of the already on sale prices – I just had to order when I could get a deal!
In recent years I buy very little not on sale so felt like I just had to get in on this one ![]()
Some almost black solid – 6 yards –
it is actually darker than the photo shows for some reason – my lighting again? Always a color to keep on hand in the stash and I am almost out of black.

A jelly roll – Prince Charming by Free Spirit – this will go into a very fast easy quilt I bet. Match up with some white and maybe some solids – I will need to get in some thinking on something cute for this.

Another angle

A fat quarter package (14 pieces) Bali Handpaints – I haven’t a clue right now what I will use this bundle for – shades of purples, greens, blues, lavender.

Another angle

Not shown 3 yards of unbleached white flannel – in the washing machine then the dryer– you know how flannel shrinks – this is going to be made up into drawstring pajama pants. I might wash and dry a second time as well – I don’t want these to shrink after they are made! She gave me an extra 8 inches of this one – I do believe it was the end of the bolt. I’m glad for the extra 8 inches maybe I will still have 3 yards?
I made out pretty good price wise. Over all I have been very pleased with everything I have ever bought from Cathy and was sad to hear she was going out of business.
I might just have to whip up an easy quilt and machine quilt in straight lines once again even though I don’t like machine quilting! – maybe a picnic quilt to throw in the camper with that jelly roll
get it out of my system and then back to the things in progress – hmm – what do you think?

you get some great fabric!…I know exactly how you feel…every time I get something new I want to drop what I am working on and start with the new!!!…..sometimes I try to resist and then it drives me crazy….I say strike while the iron is hot…..but this from a person who now had 6 quilts going at once
