The Red and Green Finished

in quilts, Red & Green Traditional Applique

I finished this one last week but had no chance to lay it all out where I could get a photo until this morning.   Still looks the same but it is all appliqued now – last time you saw it- it was glue basted in place.  Needle turn applique

This quilt top will now be put aside and will be hand quilted sometime in the future.

It is beautiful. The border compliments the blocks very well. Good job. Karen.
Can`t wait to see how you will quilt it.

Yep, I like the border too. It doesn’t take away from the main body of the design. Actually it compliments it. Nice!!!

Karen, I LOVE this quilt! Can’t wait to see how you quilt it. Really makes me want to start a red and green….but I have an “only 15 going rule”. Makes me want to hurry and get to 14, LOL. Your applique is so invisible. Thanks so much for sharing/inspiring.

It turned out beautifully. The border is just right and does not weigh down the quilt.
