Windows Live Writer – A Tutorial

First off we have come through the storm just fine, more rain expected today but the worst passed us by to the east.  We have a total of 1 1/2 inches of rain so far and a couple small dead branches down and that was it Smile maybe one more inch is expected today.

My daughter from @ Home-Take Two had a guest blogger today that did a tutorial on how to use Windows Live Writer.  I use this program to write my post and insert photos.  I do this for this blog Quilts Etc. in Word Press and for the Celebrate Hand Quilting blog that I contribute to that is in Blogger.  It makes blogging so much easier.  If you have trouble with Blogger like I know a lot of you do you might want to check it out.

Yesterday I got done with parts of the feathered star for the Common Bride quilt and got a few more pieces cut out.  Today a little more of the piecing on the bottom section of this large block I will get to and also plan on some quilting time.

Not a lot – but every little bit counts.  A little more quilting on both quilts and this morning at quilt group I worked on Patchwork of the Crosses and got one more block almost finished and sewed 4 more of the little aqua squares on to the main part of the quilt – This quilt will be worked on a little here and there and one day – it just might be done.

(I am compensated for any purchases made through my links.)

So glad that you found that tutorial useful! I have a guest blogger scheduled for next week too, and I think she is going to blog about how to get traffic out of Pinterest. Now, I know you’re not a fan of Pinterest… but I think it’ll be a useful tutorial for many! 😉 I’m still a Pinterest newbie and trying to get it all figured out- the right way, so it links back to the rightful owner.

Quilt looks like it’s coming along. Looking forward to seeing you guys soon!

Very interesting post on WLW…..will have to check it further. Your piecing is so lovely. Have spent more time at the river than at my machine lately. Off to the Black Hills this week (for the Hill City,SD, quilt show this weekend). Where has the time gone!?! So thankful to ‘hear’ all’s well your direction and you got a reasonable amount of rain….hugs, D
