What is on your bed?

I did have Star Crazy on my bed since I finished it at the end of May but I was ready for a change and Going in Circles (my own design) is back on the bed now.  I really love this quilt that I made last year.

On the agenda for today?  Outside work and very little quilting/sewing unless it gets too hot outside and the bugs come out too much – then it will be back inside working on a variety of projects.  I have sections of the feathered star for Common Bride ready to work on and will like to get further with the center of this quilt – it is so much fun starting a new quilt isn’t it Smile one just can’t help themselves can one lol

(I am compensated for any purchases made through my links.)

Going in Circles looks great on your bed. Glad to hear that you made it through the storms OK. We might be getting some rain over the holiday weekend but the weather person doesn’t seem to know for sure. Looks like that happens everywhere. Hurricanes make predicting difficult. I pulled weeds this morning but it’s too hot and humid to do more in the afternoon. Where is Fall????

PS: By the way, I cannot believe how often you win give-aways! I am a Karen too so how come I don’t have that kind of luck? lol

Your “Going In Circles” quilt is fantastic! I know that your design was inspired from a quilt in a book, but might you share the process by which you were able to create your design? I could use a lesson on creativity. Thanks!

I, too, love changing the quilts on the bed. I have started changing it every month, just so I can revisit the quilts I have made. This quilt of yours is so light and bright and pretty.

It is very fun to start new projects. I am in the process of making decisions before the actual starting on two new ones lol. I am almost finished with the hand applique on the Baltimore Blue. Then have to decide on sashing, borders and backing. I think this one is going on the floor frame for quilting. I have really taken my time appliquing it and if it takes another 3 or 4 years for quilting I am ok with that. This one is finally another one for me. It will make 2 I own lol. Three if you count hubby’s. My quilts mostly live at my children’s homes. Which I love too. Have a great day no matter what you end up doing.
