Whatever you want to call it –it is done and yes it looks better to me once it was washed, dried and shrunk up a little bit.  The mistakes do not show up so much now.  It finished up at 52 inches by 62 inches.

The back – this could easily be a reversible quilt the backing is so pretty.

Now I guess I can get back to making the applique for the Bow Tie quilt and see if I can get it done before I finish Joseph’s Coat and take it off the frame.  I want to put that quilt on the frame when JC comes off of it.  It does feel so nice to have two finishes though!!  Now can I get some more finished before the end of the year?

  1. Congratulations on a finish. I love the part where you can throw the quilt in the wash and have it come out soft and ready to be placed on a bed.

  3. That sure turned out nice. I also love when a quilt comes out of the dryer all nice and soft and crinkly. What a sweet one it is.

  7. The backing is wonderful! With our Air conditioner fixed I was finally able to sit and hand quilt on the Baltimore Blue for a little while today. It was much to hot over the last few days to lap quilt without working air conditioning.

  9. Both of your latest quilts are adorable. I love the colors. Are you planning to give them away? Wait for a recipient to pop up? use them as table toppers? put on your couch? I always have trouble figuring out what to do with these smaller quilts which I love to make (very manageable in the sewing machine). Sometimes that’s just the size that looks best for the design, too.

  10. Congrats on the finish! It looks like a fresh and happy quilt. The back is very pretty too.
