Quilting

It looks like we are to have a rainy stormy day today so I doubt very much that I will do anything outside today.  I guess it is a quilting/tv day for sure.

Last night I continued to work on the quilting of the border for the Bow Tie Medallion and I made more progress.

this is where I left off so I am almost finished with the first border and will be able to give the rollers a cranking down and start on the next section soon.  I am quilting around each applique shape also.

I actually started the binding on Joseph’s Coat yesterday but it is going slow – I just haven’t felt like it.  I will get busy on it though a little at a time.  I have it sitting on the couch so I will pick it up off and on when watching tv.  Scallop binding is not my thing and it always takes me longer to get it finished than regular.

I’ve been out of pocket for a few days and this is the first I have seen of your quilting in the border. How creative. I never would have thought to use the zig zags and circles.

First border nearly finished, you are flying!! I really, really like the geometric design on this, and your stitches are a pleasure to look at! Hope I will eventually learn hand-quilting and manage fine stitches.
