I managed to get done with one of the two pillows that I planned on making a couple days ago. I had gotten started on one of them a couple days ago and then really didn’t get back to it yesterday at all. Today was such a dreary day – mist, rain, cold, cloudy – not a day for going outside much. We do not do much of anything for a New Years Day celebration – and out daughter will be visiting tomorrow so today I spent reading and putting one of the pillows together out of my string scraps.
Side 1
Side 2 – I used the featherweight to put the strings together and to make the pillow – I went and ahead and machine quilted both of the sides in just a simple straight stitch.
I am going to try to get one more pillow made sometime this week – but it might be next week by time I get it finished. I think my fingers are ready to get back to some quilting!
