In the past week I have been trying to put all my quilt photos – of quilts that I have made - on my pinterest page (link at the top of the blog above the calendar) – I think I have them all on there now – all that I have photos of anyhow. I know there are probably about 15 baby quilts or so that I never took photos of but there you go. I didn’t always keep track back in the late 1980′s and early 1990′s. I have close to 90 photos in that file I tried to not have a duplicate copy in there but I might have missed one here or there– almost all were hand quilted (just a couple in recent years that are machine quilted in straight lines by me) all are quilted by me, a good share of them are hand pieced too. The oldest that I remember in this file was made in about 1992 I think – they are in the file called “My Quilts” if you want to hop on over and look. They are in no particular order. wall hangings, table toppers, baby quilts, twin and queen.
Over the past couple of days in between working on the Tumbler quilt I managed to finish the row that I need to attach to the Patchwork of the Crosses. It is all ready to attach to the 4×5 rows that I have completed – this will make it 5×5 – 60 inches square.

I will begin work on this today between working on the Tumbler blocks and the rescheduled dentist appointment – well be glad to get that out of the way except I know there will be at least one more appointment after this one ![]()
I have been recording Downton Abbey and plan on watching it one show after another when the season is complete – does anyone know how many episodes are in this seasons list of shows? I do not like how our local PBS station has this show scheduled though – it has been at a different time each of the 3 Sundays it has been on so far! I can’t program in advance and instead I have to keep leaving myself notes to remember to check the time and program it early in the evening.

Your Patchwork of Crosses looks like it could be very time consuming, especially pieces together the uneven edges. It’s coming along so beautifully.

Have been avoiding Pinterest (no will-power!) but will make an exception for you, Dear! Have a good Monday (well……except for the moments in “the chair”!!! Maybe you could use that time to plan the next project!?!). Blessings, D

Oh how I love your POTC! ‘Tis beautiful work!
I don’t do Pinterest (had an account and found it too addicting! LOL), but I’ll bet your quilts are just lovely.
Sorry about the dentist appointment. Those are no fun. I am sure you’ll be glad you get it behind you.
Have a great day of stitching!

Wow Karen, I checked out your Pinterest page and…you have a ton of beautiful quilts on there. I love to see all the different styles/patterns. Makes me just want to see what you do next. POTC is stunning. I love to watch your whole process. Thanks for sharing.
Well I have a pinterest account. I don’t think anything on the few boards I have are anything I did lol. And there isn’t much on mine. I should move pictures of all my quilts there, that is a great idea. I haven’t gotten caught up in the pinterest love. To busy doing other things I guess lol.

I’ve been trying to avoid Pinterest as it’s way too easy to get lost there! But I went and love the fabulous variety of quilts you’ve made!

As they say in Ireland, God bless your patience and your hands! This quilt is wonderful
