Quilt Group

First off let me say thank you for all the ideas on background colors for Diamonds are Forever.  I have a quilt group this morning and I am bringing various colors of fabric with me and I will lay out on the floor and audition some of these diamonds to start getting an idea of what will look best – I’ll take photos and do another post later today.

Now last night was our first Thursday night of the month group and I took photos of the quilts that were shown there.  As usual I have no clue who did what – sorry.

the person that did the quilting on this quilt and the one above brought these to show – she said a 13 year girl made this black/red/white.

These hexies belong to Sherri she will be starting to join  them soon – she is doing them English Paper Piecing.

These next two are some antique tops that one of the ladies brought to show.

So that was the extent of show and tell.  We had a good group show up and everyone or almost everyone had some hand work to do – no sewing machines! usually there are at least a couple around.

I do hope the blizzard in the North East won’t be real bad for you all – rain here off and on yesterday and during the night – nothing like what you guys will be getting.
