I just had to post this first sign of spring even though I posted earlier.  When walking up to the mailbox a little while ago this bright yellow caught my eye.  The earliest of the many varieties of daffodils that I have Smile

  4. I hope between the flowers and that darn groundhog it doesn’t mean we’re going to have another hot, dry summer :(

Our daffodils line the driveway through the woods and are already spectacular which means they\’ll be gone by early to mid-March. I\’m with CJ, last summer was a hard garden year and 2011 was a prelude of what was to come. Even my hybrid daffodils that usually bloom the end of March are budded out.

  7. Lovely! Here we can’t wait for cooler days! :)

  8. My daffs are just starting to peak through the ground. Yours are way ahead of mine. I love, love, love those yellow blossoms. Makes me feel youthful again for some strange reason.

  9. I have these all over the yard right now.
