Saturday was one of those days where you just sit and read or sew.  Barely got to 40 degrees yesterday and rained off and on.  What did I do?  Finished a book, watched some tv and did a little sewing.  A lazy day over all.  How about you – I wish spring would come back!

Diamonds are Forever – 6 more complete bringing my total up to 40 something I think and a heck of a lot more to do.

And on the Bowtie Medallion quilt I got a little more quilting done.  Lot more to go but a little bit is a little bit.

I was so glad to hear that I am not the only quilter who forgets what books are in the quilting library!  I really need to get better at pulling a couple off of the shelf and looking through them now and then to remember what I have.

Now what kind of day will we have today – please let the sun come out for a little bit!

  1. Saturday started out cool and damp here in the northern fringes of S. TX, but wound up warm and pleasant. It was a day out with my daughter, so not much sewing happening at my house. Today, though!

  2. We have a lousy day here in southern Louisiana. Daughter Carrie has her Easter Brund planned for today, sorry to see these clouds.

Another surprise is that by Monday we will be back at 36 degrees!

  3. The weather was nice yesterday, but after an early morning trip to the post office and grocery shopping I just became superlazy after I came home… I read some blogs and was on the computer most of the day, which is something I usually do not do… Oh well, it doesn’t harm with a lazy day in between, does it?! :) Today we’ve had some rain and I’ve been sewing… :)

  5. The weather stinks here in Cabot too. I got some machine embroidery done yesterday. I am making chair back covers for the dining chairs in our new 5th wheel. I don’t want the backs to rub together when we are moving. Each of the 4 covers will have a different animal: moose, deer, bear and fox. Looks like windy drearyness here again today. I hope to get them finished today. Love your handwork. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I wish spring would come back too. I’m so tired of snow. It even snowed yesterday while the sun was shining. Well, maybe by mid April……
