Organic Dyeing of Easter Eggs

I tell you I have two crafty daughters they might not be quilters but each in her own right are pretty crafty Smile  Melanie From Scratch has come up with some really neat ways to dye your Easter eggs from items that you might have in your kitchen instead of purchasing those little dye packs that you get at the grocery store – look at these eggs!  Did you know you can use coffee, blueberry juice and other items to dye your eggs? At this post of hers she tells you how to do it.    Go look on her blog to see what she used to color each of these eggs.

My daughter Jessica, At Home Take Two took it further and used leaves for imprints and made more pretty eggs as you can see from this post – she will tell you how to do it.

The eggs looks so beautiful, love all the colours, the ones with the leaf imprint remind me of fabric, I had forgotten that Easter was the end of the month, I suppose I need to do some planning soon.

Before we know, Easter is here. The colored and decorated eggs look beautiful. Indeed your daugthers are crafty, if not quilters! :)
