Thank you everyone for your complements on the Patchwork of the Crosses.  I do appreciate it.

Thanks also for all the ideas for the eggplant – I might have to try a small lasagna with them as several suggested – and no sprinkling with salt and soak for awhile – I thought that was what I had heard to do with them first before using.

Finish one and pick up another or two or three – I still want to get done with all that I have started and my fingers must stay busy for some reason.  I did take a couple hours break yesterday after I finished the POTC but by late afternoon I was picking up Love Entwined and started to hand stitch the first zigzag border down.

More little pieces ready to make borders 2, 3 and 4.  These have been ready since the weekend but I hadn’t touched them so I could finish up the other.

Three of the 30 blocks on the Pinwheel quilted – I will be working on this off and on of course.

I have been quilting every night on the Red and Green for an hour or two and it is progressing but slowly as I am watching/listening to a show at the same time and my eyes keeps bobbing up and down watching it.

  1. You are making all kinds of progress this week! It must be really unbearable outside. We had a real turn in the weather today. A cold front came through and we have the windows open today. Still a good day for quilting.

  5. We’ve done the eggplant lasagna (no salt sprinkle!) and like it. The last time I did it I used the normal pasta on the bottom and top with the eggplant layer as just one of the pasta layers. Was better accepted by the “fam”. Eggplant Parmesan is the hands-down fave here.rnYour stitchings are inspiring as always…..have a great day!!!!!
