Love Entwined

Love Entwined - Esther's BOM, Red & Green Traditional Applique

I am finally ready to begin Part 3 of Love Entwined – I have my pieces cut out and today I will begin to glue baste them in place in order to begin the applique.  Hopefully I will be done by time Part 4 comes out but if not I will continue to lag slightly behind – no problem!

The design for part 3 added to the overlay – yes I need to straighten it out a little before I get to glue basting. Woops just noticed on one of the hearts I forgot to mark the opening in the center of the heart on the overlay – doesn’t really matter all that much – it is mainly just for placement purposes – I am not an exact type of quilter. LOL

This is where part 3 adds in to the center design – obviously I am using totally different colors that what is featured here.

More progress on the Red and Green applique quilt.

Close ups – too much flash – color is not right on this one.

A little on the leaves as well.  The color here is correct.

Now I guess I better get back to work.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Great progress on your LE. It is a wonderfully intricate quilt.

    Beautiful hand quilting.

Looks like you’re making great progress on LE. AND your quilting. So beautiful!

I’m new to quilting and like your tiny stitches, is it very easy to make them so small or is it a time thing? I often look at your pages for encouragement.

Both are coming along beautifully. Love to see your progress.
