Well I told you all I cleaned up my sewing area when we got home from our trip – and now my sewing table is full again but I will get to that in the next post! This what it looked like Wednesday morning after I got the camper emptied out – just kind of tossed stuff LOL
I had a package waiting for me from the giveaway I won while we were traveling – from Moda Lissa – nice amount to add to the stash
Before we had left on our trip I had emptied out the large box onto the table – this was all fabric that had been put aside for the Uncommon, Common Bride which ended up being much smaller and different (and not finished yet) than originally planned. Some of the fabric was put in with the Love Entwined fabric as it will go with that quilt the rest has been put back on the shelves. I decided that I need to switch boxes and Love Entwined is now in the big box.
Yes and it is already overflowing once again but nice to have it all in one spot.
The large block quilt that I barely started on the trip – 2 blocks finished will now be machine pieced instead and kept in the smaller box. I just couldn’t get into hand piecing it – long seams tend to be boring and go so much faster by machine!
A little neater – Love Entwined box within easy reach on the stool
Shelve of fabric rearranged a little bit to make more room – I really need to color organize one day but it won’t happen soon I’m sure. I haven’t done anything with the other shelves and they are packed like always
I have been quilting the Pinwheel quilt in the hoop but that is the only one I am working on right now– I might get the big block basket out though and maybe sew a block or two and get myself back to normal within the next day or two! I have concluded that the best thing to take along to work on in the future in the camper is a hexie project and one applique project just in case I am in the mood – I got about 35 hexie diamonds done and will show the stack in the next post. I barely touched any of the other projects that I brought along – a stitch here and there and that was it.
