Granny’s Binding Started

Granny’s Got Style

I figured I better get busy and get the binding sewed on to Granny so I can finish her up.  I was going to do binding with leftover backing fabric but changed my mind and chose something totally different.

Getting this big quilt on the table and machine is some hard work.

But I got it done.

Stitching has started.  Off to Little Rock today for an appointment and shopping – talk to you all later!

(I am compensated for any purchases made through my links.)

Ahh, while I love getting the binding on (the end is in sight!), wrestling with those big quilts to sew on the binding is almost more than I can manage (I’m such a weakling ha!). I love the binding that you chose … it’ll really add a nice pop to the quilt.

Love that binding! While I thought using the backing fabric would have looked great, I like the polka dots even more….

I love this quilt. The circles on the front – are they hand appliqued on? Thanks for sharing.

I love that binding! Polka dots and stripes always add such a wonderful added bit of interest to a quilt. Congratulations on yet another great finish.
