Luckily I guess – my camera broke while we were at Richfield, I am a point and shoot type of photographer, nothing special for my needs other than a good zoom lens and we found one at Wal-Mart – so from here out I do believe all the photos are with the new camera which does have a better zoom lens then the old one did. To bring you up to date we are now in Page Arizona and it is October 9 in the evening as I write this for the morning. Our internet was so poor in Bryce Canyon that I finally just gave up trying to post anything. Here it is better but not perfect.
After Richfield we left for Bryce Canyon National Park – I took so many photo’s it is crazy – how to pick out the best LOL – impossible. Sadly our first two days were rainy days. We took a drive one of those days to the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument – these were some of the things along the way – edited: this flower’s common name is “Mexican Hat” I don’t know the technical name.
A visitor center with a little quilt that could be doll or baby size
This is the road we followed – followed the numbers to 25 at Torrey and then turned back – it was getting rainier and we had a bit of a drive back through high mountains – didn’t want any snow! it had dropped to about 37 going across them.
A cute little lizard that greatly resembled our brown lizards at home but this guy was tiny – only about 4 inches long – zoom lens worked great!!
See the cloudy skies!
Was surprised to see flowers blooming still
Our big game sighting of the day was in open range up in the mountains – someone better come get these cattle soon – it is getting cold up there!
