Not a Quilting Kind of Day

Quilty 365 – The Final Frontier

I was extremely lazy in the quilting department yesterday.  I went grocery shopping, I did laundry and I read a book that wasn’t all that great and just plain was a lay around lazy day.  I guess I needed it to recharge my batteries!

The only quilting to show is The Final Frontier and the quilting was from Monday night.  I finished up one end which I forgot to get a photo of and rolled it down and got started on this end which I did take a photo of.

Maybe today will be a busier day?  How about you – did you get any quilting done?  I am linking up to Sew Fresh Quilts and  Confessions of a Fabric Addict  also Quilt Fabrication has a link up as well and well see what others have been working on.  Cynthia from Quilting is More Fun Than Housework would like us to share what blogs we love and visit.  I have a list on my side bar of some of the blogs that I visit – I have a lot more listed on my Feedly Reader – by putting the blogs you read on a reader like that you are updated daily when there are new posts.  I spend my first waking hours on the computer with my coffee or tea seeing what people are up to.  I love finding new to me blogs and see what kind of quilts others are working on, or finding decorating tips, recipes, travel ideas.  I do not just read quilting blogs but they are my main topic of choice as quilters do other things besides quilting!  I love to travel the world sitting at my computer and visiting with other quilters.

(I am compensated for any purchases made through my links.)

We all need days like that! Most of my sewing is being done in the wee hours of the morning. Little by little, projects are being finished. Enjoy your day! XO

Thanks for sharing your list of blogs. Some I have never visited so I am off to check them out. Reading blogs every morning is what I do too. It starts my day out being inspired!

Being lazy, and taking a day off sounds wonderful – I need a week of that!

That’s what I am doing today! Feel a bit lousy right now. Maybe its the change in weather. WE are suppose to get a cool front and some rain tomorrow. But what ever the reason being lazy is ok

No shame in having a lazy day! Recharging like that is good for the soul, the body, and the mind and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.
I certainly don’t get the chance to sew everyday, but my “sewing time” was off a bit this week as well.
Your Final Frontier quilt is looking amazing btw!

Ahh, a lazy day is just what we need now and then. I did a little decluttering and then made 4 granny square blocks. It’s going to be cooler tomorrow so I don’t know that I’ll get in much quilting. 😉

I didn’t get to do any stitching today…had other things taking priority…hopefully I will get back to the stitching tomorrow!
Love seeing your quilting progress on Final Frontier!

Lazy days are wonderful! I call them pajama days. Even on days sewing seems to dodge me, I do realize that I sew “in my mind” if you will. I’m so glad you had some time for yourself! 🙂
