quilts

It was a very long day – we left Houston at 6:30 this morning and got home around 6:15 in the evening.  Unpacking to do, laundry and then to go through all the photos.  I will update sometime tomorrow – have to run and vote too – thank goodness our voting area is very small – usually no wait and little in the way of a line if you go in the middle of the afternoon.

It was actually chilly enough in the house to turn the heat on when we got home – I believe it got down in the low 40’s on Sunday night and stayed in the low 60’s today – fall has arrived!

Now it is time to relax at the quilting frame for a little bit before I get to bed and tackle things in the morning – talk later!

EDITED:  I didn’t know the photos were messed up on the posts I did while I was gone until I saw them on the computer – I will be going in and fixing them tomorrow – somehow by posting on the Ipad the photos got messed up – they looked ok on the Ipad but when I got home I could see they weren’t right on the computer – oh well – something to figure out – I fixed two days of post and have two more to do – some other photos might be used as I was using photos from the phone I will use from the camera instead.

After some research Mike found out that the problem I had with the photos on blog post that I did with the Ipad not facing the right direction all comes down to how you hold your camera when you take a photo.  If you are taking a photo with your phone  holding your camera sideways you must have the volume button pointed towards the floor.  The devices automatically change the photos to the right direction on those devices but not on the computer.

I’m glad you had a good, safe trip. Thanks for sharing your adventure. Thanks too for fixing the photos on the last post. I really wanted to see them and this is great.

I’m glad you made it home safely — your pictures all look good to me — you must have fixed them by now. I voted this morning and it took over an hour — I’ve never seen such a line at our location and we even have early voting. It’s a HEAVY turnout year!

our little town that is close to us that we vote at only has a population of 1300 so it is always ok even at it’s busiest! in the late morning to early afternoon when most go to work is the easiest time to vote and rarely stand in line more than five minutes at the most
