Not much done yesterday in the line of sewing, Mike has a four day weekend – just the way his schedule is working out so yesterday I was busy doing other things. Didn’t take any photos but I was busy prying up old carpet tacking or whatever you call it in the sewing room while Mike was filling in some holes and working in area where new wiring will be put in.
I did get back to quilting though on the Postage Stamp quilt. I can tell that right now I will not be working on it every day – my thumb that I use for some of the quilting is bothering me a bit – arthritis – it will move slowly for awhile. Yes I use my thumb and my middle finger for quilting – I quilt away from me and to the right with my thumb and towards me and to the left with the index finger. I finished what had been in the hoop and then moved it over and started in this section. When this block gets done there is a section on the opposite side of the row that needs to be finished. I am still trying to stick with row by row for finishing this quilt up off of the 3 roller frame. Maybe I will get more done today or tomorrow on the sewing. It was so chilly outside yesterday compared to the previous two days – Thursday was only up to 46 Brr – chilly after 76 one day and 72 the other! but back to warmer weather soon.
