Hexagons

Handful of Scraps

Only a little progress on Sunday – the weather was great again and I was outside with the yard – a little here and there and gradually it is all getting cleaned up – thank heavens for a riding lawn mower that can mulch leaves and small twigs up like crazy.

I got this much sewed in between outside work.

Then I had to do more thread basting!  I was out of prepared hexies.  I got more laid out in place, took my photos with the Ipad and stacked them up to do some more stitching. Linking up to MCM #64 Main Crush Monday ,Love, Laugh, Quilt and Em’s Scrapbag.

It’s amazing how hard it is to keep enough neutrals on hand for this project. I need to prep some too. You are making great progress, Karen!

Outside work can keep you hopping this time of year. Great progress none the less.

That’s great that you used all your prepped hexies and had to make more – that’s progress! 80’s. Wow! I’d be outside too! 🙂

I think you got a lot of work done. The hexies are really coming along. I bet you just whizzed up and down on that mower, LOL. Your yard is so nice and big. I hope the deer
leave your flowers and veggies alone. The armadillos and rabbits are always after my flowers.
