Baskets and Hexie

Fall Harvest (scrappy baskets)

Just a little bit was done here yesterday – I was finishing up a book and had a dentist appointment – herbs to cut and get in the dehydrator and then a little sewing late in the day.

Two baskets on top are finished and ready to add to the pile and the two on the bottom are prepped and ready to work on.  Linking to Confessions of a Fabric Addict today and Crazy Mom Quilts.

One little hexie just about complete and ready to add to the project box.  It is that time of the year when there is more time spent outside and away from the sewing stuff – I’m sure I will continue to get progress done – actually I will be starting some scrappy nine patches.  I am putting the box of 2 inch squares next to the sewing machine and will begin chain piecing – later when I have a bunch of them they will be put into a design – a Bonnie Hunter Pattern!  I have been following her for years and have never made one of her quilts and I have two of her books on my Ipad and have just never gotten around to it.

This weekend only! Ready to dive into something new? For three days only you can get your hands on these Craftsy must-have classes, all yours for under $20!  Friday the 2nd through Sunday the 4th at midnight.

(I am compensated for any purchases made through my links.)

I love Bonnie Hunter and have been a follower for years too. I have Allietare almost finished. I have all of her books and enjoy looking at all the pretty quilts. Her quilt designs are great for scraps, aren’t they? What is the name of the quilt you are going to make? You just amaze me, with all of your projects! The baskets and little hexie are so cute! I just love and enjoy your blog so much. I just received my quilt kit from Craftsy, Radiant Rainbow, that I got through your link. The colors of the Boundless fabric are so bright and beautiful, I love it. Its another project for down the road, lol!
