Murrieta Stars

Murrieta Stars – Flannel

Just a little more quilting done on Murrieta Stars on Tuesday night.   I was working on it more last night to relax after a busy afternoon of putting away all of the Christmas stuff – all of the other stuff that is normally out still needs to be taken care of – and vacuuming and whatever – all the cleaning that goes with it!  Exhausting day as all of the Christmas stuff was taken care of after I got home from exercising and the grocery shopping and laundry was going at the same time!!  A busy day.

Ready to get back to work on one of the projects though as here is an empty work table!

I really am not sure what well be next – I should prep a Round We Go block or two and the Bird Brain quilt needs to be worked on as well and Hertfordshire quilt – well I will think on it and let you all know – in the meantime I’m keeping this short and I’m going to go quilt.

(I am compensated for any purchases made through my links.)

It looks like you have a nice big cutting board! Lots of space for prepping things there! We had a busy day yesterday, too, so I never got around to blog reading until late. Hope your thumb is getting better each day.

yes it is a nice big cutting area that I have and I am so glad that I know have it – the whole table is about double what I used to have. My thumb is getting better, still covered but no longer bleeding when I clean it and change the bandage – hope I can leave it uncovered in a couple days but I’m afraid if I don’t I will get it caught on something and then open it again and bleed on fabric!

What a busy day you had! Glad you had some time to quilt, every bit is closer to a finish. I had a nice quiet day stitching, but today I have vacuuming and laundry to do. We sure would get a lot of quilting done if we didn’t have housework, wouldn’t we? It’s another beautiful sunny day here, so nice to have the sun after so long it seems of cloudy days. Take care of your thumb, so it doesn’t open and heals faster.

I have been kind of lazy this morning other than vacuuming have done little! I know it might seem like I get a lot done to some – but in reality I have a lot of down time.

    busy day indeed!

I saw your question earlier….not sure if we are being affected by Grayson the storm or what but the wind is picking up and there’s an advisory through Saturday; wind chills of anywhere from -10 to -30 ugh.

hope you do not get snowed in. We have not even had a flurry here and the cold temps are on their way out and might be in the low 50’s a week from now – still hitting the low 20’s at night though for now.

  • Your hand quilting stitches look nice and even.
